However, the Nissan Rogue had one downside — its lack of power. Sure, the pre-2022 model’s 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque wasn’t bad per se, but it left us yearning for a bit more oomph. Especially with 5 passengers and 74.1 cubic feets worth of cargo, older Nissan Rogue models could feel a little bit sluggish and underpowered.  Thankfully, Nissan has noticed this and has equipped both the 2022 and 2023 Nissan Rogue with one engine option: a new turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder capable of 201 horsepower & 225 lb-ft of torque.
